Overview

K2 Electric was looking for a new advertising campaign to increase brand visibility and generate leads, especially in the data center and healthcare sectors, while expanding awareness in the Tucson market.

The Problem

The campaign theme, “We have a lot on our mind,” was designed to convey the range of the company’s capabilities. Early conversations included the idea of “a brain wearing a hard hat, but make it cool and futuristic,” a concept that is inherently difficult to execute in a way that feels elevated, innovative, and credible within a highly specialized industry.

Our Solution

Rather than interpreting the idea literally, I developed a more elevated visual direction featuring a figure wearing a transparent hard hat that reveals a glowing neural network. This approach retained the conceptual strength of the original idea while introducing a futuristic aesthetic that conveys intelligence, innovation, and technical depth.

I extended the concept into a flexible series of campaign visuals tailored to key audiences, including healthcare, data centers, industrial markets, and the Tucson region. The campaign is currently running across construction and real estate publications, positioning K2 Electric as a forward-thinking industry partner.

The client responded enthusiastically to the concept, immediately approving the direction and moving the campaign into production.
